A traditional pasta from Abruzzo, Chitarra features long, square-cut strands with a hearty texture and exceptional sauce-holding power. Its name comes from the chitarra, a traditional wooden pasta-cutting tool strung with metal wires—chitarra means “guitar” in Italian.
Bronze-die cut and slowly air-dried, Mancini Chitarra has a rough, porous surface and satisfying al dente bite. Perfect with tomato sauces, ragù, seafood, or simply olive oil and Pecorino.
