Morgenster EVOO

Morgenster extra virgin olive oil, the Estate's highly awarded flagship, is made from 14 of the best Italian olive varieties and grown in the famous Stellenbosch wine growing region of South Africa. The first whiff is intense freshly cut grass followed by green tomatoes, almonds, artichokes and green apples. These aromas come through on the taste followed by a slightly bitter and peppery finish. This oil makes a fabulous salad dressing just as it is or blend with a hearty red wine vinegar or aged balsamic. Use it to drizzle over toasted Bruschetta, your favorite Italian bread or on your morning toast instead of butter. Drizzle on grilled fish, roasted vegetables or stir fries. It makes excellent mayonnaise and you can even use it for olive oil ice-cream.
